Medicine and Materials is an international, peer-reviewed, open access journal dedicated to research at the interface of medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, biomedical engineering, and materials science. The journal publishes high-quality research focused on biomaterials, medical devices, implants, prostheses, tissue engineering, drug-delivery systems, biointerfaces, and other materials-based technologies relevant to healthcare.
Priority is given to manuscripts in which materials, biomaterials, medical devices, material–biological interactions, or materials-based technologies constitute a central scientific component of the study. The journal welcomes interdisciplinary research ranging from fundamental materials characterization and biological evaluation to clinical and translational applications.
